How to Wash and Store a Sticky Bra

TD adhesive-bra models should be rinsed with clean water only, allowed to air-dry naturally and stored with the original protective film after they are fully dry. This care sequence does not guarantee restored adhesion or a fixed number of uses.

Remove the product gently, rinse it with clean water only and handle the adhesive surface carefully. Do not use soap, detergent or another cleaning product. Let it air-dry away from heat, hair dryers and direct sunlight. Once fully dry, replace the original protective film and store it clean and dry in a cool place.

Use the procedure for the documented adhesive-bra models

TD's current push-up adhesive-bra category includes YM04, YM05, YM14, YM17, YM19, YM23 and YM24. The manual identifies an adhesive layer on these models, but their cup shapes and closures are not identical. YM05, YM17 and YM19 use plastic clasps, while YM24 uses a metal clasp; exact component grades remain unconfirmed.

This guide explains the approved cleaning and storage sequence for that collection. It does not establish one care method for every adhesive bra sold by another brand, and it does not prove waterproof, sweatproof or swimming performance.

Wash with clean water only

  1. Remove gently. Start at an edge and peel slowly. Do not pull abruptly or tug at the skin; stop if removal causes discomfort.
  2. Rinse with clean water. Do not add soap, detergent or another cleaning product.
  3. Handle the adhesive carefully. Avoid rough rubbing, scraping or folding the adhesive surfaces together.
  4. Inspect the item. Check for damage, deformation or markedly reduced adhesion before considering another use.

Cleaning is a care step, not a documented method for making a sticky bra sticky again. If adhesion is significantly reduced, the approved instruction is to stop reuse rather than promise that washing will restore performance.

Air-dry before replacing the protective film

Allow the product to air-dry naturally. Keep it away from heat, hair dryers and direct sunlight. Do not replace the liner while the adhesive surface is still wet.

After the product is fully dry, restore its original protective film. Store it clean and dry in a cool place where the cup, wing and clasp cannot be crushed or deformed. The manual confirms the use of the original film; it does not confirm substitute liner materials.

Stop reuse when the product no longer passes inspection

Stop using the item if adhesion is markedly reduced, the product is damaged or deformed, or it causes irritation. No fixed reuse count is guaranteed, and this guide does not publish a numeric wear or cleaning-cycle claim.

Do not apply the product to broken, irritated or sunburned skin. Discontinue use if redness, itching or discomfort occurs, and remove the product before sleeping.

What brand and wholesale buyers should approve

  • The exact model and revision covered by the instruction.
  • The original protective-film format supplied with the sample.
  • Water-only cleaning, natural drying and storage wording for packaging inserts.
  • Stop-use language without a guaranteed wear or reuse count.
  • A physical sample review before approving localized instructions or artwork.

Compare current models on the push-up adhesive-bra page, then record care and packaging requirements in the OEM sample brief or contact TD with the selected model.

Evidence basis and limits

This guide does not establish skin-safety certification, waterproof performance, swimming suitability, restored adhesion, a fixed reuse count or a universal care method for other products.
