How to Clean Silicone Nipple Covers

Rinse the approved TD silicone nipple-cover collection with clean water only and allow it to air-dry naturally. Adhesive models need their original protective film after drying; non-adhesive YM02 and YM03 do not need adhesive-surface care.

Direct answer

Rinse the nipple covers with clean water only. Do not use soap, detergent or another cleaning product. Handle adhesive surfaces gently and let every model air-dry away from heat, hair dryers and direct sunlight. Once fully dry, replace the original protective film on adhesive models. YM02 and YM03 are non-adhesive and do not require adhesive-surface care.

Identify adhesive and non-adhesive models first

The approved collection includes cover models YM01, YM02, YM03, YM21 and YM22, plus lift-shaped models YM06–YM13, YM15, YM16, YM18 and YM20. The manual identifies YM02 and YM03 as non-adhesive; the other listed models have adhesive layers.

That distinction affects storage after cleaning. It does not authorize a waterproof, sweatproof, swimming, hypoallergenic or skin-safe claim for either construction.

Use a simple water-only cleaning sequence

  1. Remove gently. Peel from an edge without pulling abruptly or tugging at the skin.
  2. Rinse with clean water only. Do not add soap, detergent or another cleaning product.
  3. Handle adhesive surfaces gently. Avoid rough rubbing, scraping or folding sticky surfaces together.
  4. Inspect the shape and surface. Look for damage, deformation or markedly reduced adhesion before another use.

The approved procedure does not specify water temperature, soaking time, a brush, a cloth or an adhesive-restoration product. Do not add those steps without model-level evidence.

Air-dry naturally and protect adhesive surfaces

Allow the covers to air-dry naturally away from heat, hair dryers and direct sunlight. After an adhesive model is fully dry, replace its original protective film and store it clean and dry in a cool place.

YM02 and YM03 do not have an adhesive layer, so they do not need adhesive-surface care. They should still be stored clean, dry and protected from deformation.

Stop reuse instead of promising restored performance

Stop reuse if adhesion is significantly reduced, the item is damaged or deformed, or it causes irritation. No specific number of uses is guaranteed. Cleaning is not evidence that reduced adhesion will return to its original level.

Do not apply the covers to broken, irritated or sunburned skin. Discontinue use if redness, itching or discomfort occurs, remove before sleeping and keep the product away from young children.

Common nipple-cover care questions

Can I clean silicone nipple covers with soap?

No. The factory-confirmed instruction for this collection is clean water only, without soap, detergent or another cleaning product.

Can I use a hair dryer?

No. Allow the product to air-dry naturally and avoid heat, hair dryers and direct sunlight.

Will washing make the adhesive sticky again?

No restoration result is guaranteed. If adhesion is markedly reduced, stop reuse.

Can the covers be worn for swimming?

Water resistance and swimming suitability have not been verified, so this guide does not recommend or promise that use.

Care copy belongs in the sample approval record

Brand and wholesale teams should identify the exact model, backing category, protective film and packaging instruction before approving localized care copy. Compare the standard cover models and lift-shaped models, then document the selected sample in the OEM sample brief.
